Jerry's Candy store on Uniondale Avenue?

No fences around the school
Just walking out for lunch, even though you were not a senior?
There fear of getting caught smoking cigarettes?
The Great Basket Ball team?
When the gym teacher and the Director of Guidance was one and the same?
How hard the lockers felt when you were thrown up against them?
How cool it was if you locker was in the Alcove?
The bleachers on a friday night?
Cutting class on the first great spring day?
Mr. Mallon and his Biology Class?
How Mr. Zulu's forearm felt across your forehead?
That horrid smell when someone got sick in the hallway?
How cold the pool felt in the morning?
Swimming on a Saturday for a quarter?
Teachers wore a shirt and tie everyday?
We couldn't wear a hat inside the building?
Waiting to see the person you had a crush on in class the next day?
The hoods who hung around in back of the school at 3 p.m.?
The lame hall monitors..who were those guys anyway?
All the great friends you had?
When Viet Nam was for the other guys?
Kevin McGrath, Jerry Cohan, George Hammer, Vinny Smyth, and I am
sure I left some out, I will always remember the great times we had.
